Good morning, all! The exam period is almost over and the holidays are just around the corner. The campus is slowing down, but there are a few events to look forward to in the new year, including:

  • Two public lectures on January 8 and 9 featuring distinguished visiting professor Rebecca Probert from Exeter law school, on bigamy and marriage law in Britain and the US.
  • The Royal Foundry performing at the Bailey Theatre on January 11.
  • Another Infinite Improv show on January 17, featuring a couple of faces that you may recognize from around campus.

This is the last newsletter for 2018, so please send along any and all information that you’d like in the next newsletter to tlalani@ualberta.ca and cedge@ualberta.ca. Submissions can include any academic, social, and community events/news that would be of interest to Augustana faculty, staff, and students. Students are more than welcome to submit items as well!

We’ll be rolling out a NEW newsletter in 2019 with a different name and design! It will also have space for campus updates and information that may not necessarily already exist in a poster format. If you would like to pass something along or would like more information please contact Tia at tlalani@ualberta.ca. Look for the Augustana Weekly in your inboxes on January 9!

Happy holidays! See you next year!
