Join us for the Augustana Conference on Undergraduate Research and Innovative Teaching (ACURIT). ACURIT is a small, intimate conference. The aim of the conference is to create discussion and dialogue amongst scholars and students coming from a variety of academic backgrounds. There are no parallel sessions.
This year ACURIT brings together academics, experts, teachers and students to talk about their expertise and experience with High Impact Practices (HIP) in Higher Education. Teaching faculty are encouraged to share either their educational research on HIP or their own implementation of HIPs. These could include first-year seminars and experiences, the use of learning communities, collaborative assignments and projects, undergraduate research, service and community-based learning and capstones.
