Part of Sustainability 101 and the Certificate in Rural Sustainability, this one-day, open enrolment short course, developed specifically for community leaders in rural Canada, explores the key concepts in social sustainability, how to promote social sustainability and how to measure progress toward desired social goals at the community level.
Sustainability 101 and the Certificate in Rural Sustainability is a series of five, one-day short courses designed to strengthen leadership in five core areas: Governance, Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Sustainability. Each course can be taken alone, depending upon the subject of interest, or as a certificate for maximum program impact.
