Happy Wednesday! January is almost over, can you believe it? The end of the month means that next week is the start of Black History Month, as well as International Week! Check the events section below for details. There are a lot of other amazing events coming up over the next week, including dumpling-making tonight, the library’s Living Colour Exhibit Opening tomorrow night, a lecture on engaging with the tradition of Islam this Friday, a musical duo performance Friday night, a weekend full of Vikings games (as well as a Make Some Noise for Mental Health fundraiser this Friday), an artist talk and performance, a Lunch & Learn, and the 23rd annual augustana human library. And that’s all before next Wednesday!

This issue of the Weekly also includes an important update on preparing for course selection, a resource that offers tips to stay healthy, and some exciting undergraduate research opportunities. Be sure to check out the Campus Rec schedule (and remember that it’s open to students as well as staff and faculty!) and, as always, the dining hall menu, which has some delicious international offerings next week.

Enjoy!
