In preparation for the upcoming performance of Mission Songs Project—happening on March 25 at 6 p.m. at the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre—join our panel of experts as they explore different historical and contemporary connections between Indigenous music and religion, both locally and globally.
Mission Songs Project brings together almost-forgotten Indigenous songs of cultural identity, love and loss that were sung during the Australian mission days to shed light on the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait elders, families and communities.
